Machine Operator

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Prince George, VA. This position supports daily production operations by assisting with machinery, monitoring equipment, checking product quality, and helping keep the production area running safely and efficiently.

Schedule

This position requires a rotating shift schedule. Employees must be available to rotate between all three shifts:

• One week – Day Shift
• One week – Mid/Evening Shift
• One week – Overnight Shift
• The schedule will continue rotating between these shifts, so open availability for all three shifts is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment
• Monitor control panels to ensure equipment is operating properly
• Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues
• Assist with maintaining inventory and supplies for the production area
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies
• Communicate equipment, production, or quality concerns to the Production Lead
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist in other production areas as needed
• Learn multiple machines, production areas, and job duties
• Help ensure production runs efficiently and quality standards are maintained

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred
• Must be available to work days, mid/evening shifts, and overnight shifts on a weekly rotating schedule
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn multiple machines and production processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must successfully pass a hair follicle drug screening, which can detect drug use going back approximately 6 months
• Must meet all other pre-employment requirements before starting
