We’re Hiring: Machine Operator – Columbia, ILJob Title: Machine Operator
Location: Columbia, IL
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $19/hr++ (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday to Thursday)
Requirements for the Machine Operator role: Set up, calibrate, operate, and monitor production machinery
Fill, seal, and package liquid products with accuracy
Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, diagnose and basic troubleshooting
Conduct quality checks to ensure proper fill levels and product quality
Use hand tools and measuring instruments as needed
Maintain production records and follow work instructions
Lift to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally 100+ lbs with assistance)
Qualifications for the Machine Operator role: At least
6months machine operator experience required
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role
Strong attention to detail and reliability
