NIGHT SHIFT

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used for metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, finishing, and material preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, follow safety procedures, and maintain quality and production standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication, cutting, grinding, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up and adjust machines according to work instructions, drawings, and production requirements
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines and work areas
• Use hand tools and power tools to prepare, modify, and finish fabricated metal components
• Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed
• Identify defective materials, machine issues, or quality problems and report them to supervision
• Follow all company, OSHA, and facility safety procedures, including proper PPE requirements
• Complete required production, inspection, and maintenance records
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator, fabricator, grinder, or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with metal fabrication, grinding, cutting, or finishing is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, and other shop equipment
• Basic understanding of measurements, dimensions, and fabrication drawings
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine-adjustment skills
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
