Location: Hibbing, MN
Compensation: $22.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time
About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a manufacturing company in Hibbing, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality metal components while supporting a safe and efficient production line. What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:- Operate spot welding machines to join metal components according to specifications
- Load and position parts into fixtures and machines for welding
- Jump in to support different areas of the production line as needed
- Inspect welded parts to ensure alignment, strength, and quality standards
- Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times #IndeedNorth
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:- Ability to operate or learn to operate large welding equipment
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to stand for an 8–10 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous manufacturing or welding experience preferred, but not required – entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
