    Job Description

    Responsible to perform basic operations throughout the Thermoforming department in order to form heavy gauge products within designated specification.  This includes post-form trimming, grinding and assembling. 
     
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
     
    The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Basic operation of multi-station rotary style thermoforming machinery at a rate that meets or exceeds quality and production standards.
    • Perform post-form trimming using handheld trimming equipment to ensure product meets designated specifications. 
    • Operate drill machine and use a handheld drill. 
    • Complete required quality checks and report any defect in a timely manner.
    • Communicate all pertinent information at shift change.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
    • Provide relief to other members of team as necessary

    Qualifications

    Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
     
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
    • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, which will include previous employment check and criminal history review.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job in a manufacturing environment, the employee is frequently exposed to hot temperatures and moving forklifts.  The noise level in the work environment is loud.
     
    Personal Protective Equipment may be required when working in designated areas.
