Lapeer-based plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking Flocking Operators to join their team manufacturing plastic interiors such as door panels, consoles, glove compartments.  These are 1st shift positions, Mon-Thurs, 5P-3P (some overtime may be required on Fridays).   Pay is $14.00 per hour.  Some manufacturing or light industrial experience is preferred.  $1.00 increase after 90 days of hire on, and attendance bonuses. Summary:
Operate flocking machines, glue, and/or packing of parts that are used in manufacturing finished products meeting quality standards.  
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.   Follows directions correctly as instructed and ability to pay attention to detail.  High school diploma or GED is required.  
Job Responsibilities:
1.    Operate flocking machines according to written and verbal instructions.
2.    Sign Operator Acknowledgement Sheet in Job Instruction book to verify criteria for each job ran.
3.    Read job book and sign an Operator Acknowledgment Sheet for each job not run in a month or longer.
4.    Responsible for tools and equipment as assigned to operator.
5.    Required to run jobs to their processed cycle time.
6.    Required to scan information into scan guns to report production to shop order including scrap.
7.    Responsible for part quality.
8.    Pack parts as directed in the Job Instruction book.
9.    Required to follow instructions when performing secondary operations.
10.    Notify shift supervisor if problems arise with flocking department equipment.
11.    Gluers are to check glue fixtures during course of shift and clean when required.
12.    Sorting and reworking of parts as described by shift supervisor or quality inspector.
13.    Obtain In-House Audit Quality form from QC to record sorting information.
14.    If required, responsible to go to customer’s facility to sort suspect parts.
15.    Clean area around flocking and assembly equipment.
16.    Know and follow all TS-16949 and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.
17.    Adherence to Company Policies and Regulations.
18.    Performs other duties as assigned.
