Machine Operator – Foam Manufacturing | 2nd Shift

Location: Painesville, OH
Pay: $16.00–$19.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM–2:30 AM | 10-Hour Shifts

Hire Sync is hiring a Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing operation in Painesville, OH. This is a hands-on production position working with specialized machinery to cut, shape, and finish foam products according to specifications.

If you have previous machine operating, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience and enjoy hands-on work where quality and attention to detail matter, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor die-cutting and compression molding equipment used to shape foam products
• Perform skiving operations to precisely slice or reduce the thickness of foam materials
• Perform beveling and other finishing processes according to product specifications
• Inspect raw materials and finished foam components for quality and accuracy
• Monitor equipment during production and identify potential operating or quality issues
• Make sure finished products meet established specifications and quality standards
• Maintain and clean machines, tools, and surrounding work areas
• Assist with packaging completed foam components
• Prepare finished products for additional processing, finishing, or shipment
• Follow established production procedures and workplace safety requirements
• Work with the production team to meet daily quality and productivity goals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous machine operator experience strongly preferred
• Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform precise, repetitive work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn different machines, materials, and production processes
• Dependable with a strong attendance record
• Adaptable and willing to assist in different areas of production as needed
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
