Job description:Position: Full-time (40 hours a week), Temp-to-Hire after 180 daysPay: Starting at $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (Range is based on experience - management will make the adjustments) Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)Job Expectations:As a Machine Operator, you would be responsible for preparing and performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines/equipment.Job Expectations:Fabricate edges, sides, corner radius, angles, and sink cutouts using tools required in the processVerify all pieces were checked, fabricated, and returned to the same cart number and checked in the tracking sheet as completeMeet daily productivity goalsVerify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensionsRecord product and process data on specified forms when neededAssist in minor repair and maintenance on assigned equipmentWearing all Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof boots, face mask, etc.)Assuring all work areas are cleaned and organizedRoles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.What you need to succeedProfessional ExperienceDesired:· Experience in fabricating Marble, Granite, and Quartz· Experience in Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing fields· Experience operating a forkliftKnowledgeRequired:· Basic knowledge in math (adding, subtracting, measurements, reading measuring tapes, etc.) · Basic knowledge in maintenanceSkillsRequired:· Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) upon hire.
