The Impact You'll Make

We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for Blocks, to join our inclusive team in Freeport, IL. Machine Operators set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties. The wage range for this position is $20.95 to $23.00 per hour, including a 7% shift premium. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of employment which include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, annual bonus program, paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, a great working environment including 100% climate-controlled facility and much more! What You'll Be Doing

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Adheres to safety regulations and actively supports workplace safety initiatives.
• Complies with all standard work procedures, control plans, processes, and quality guidelines.
• Responsible for setting up, operating, and dismantling unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations.
• Exhibits flexibility in approach and ideas, responds constructively, and supports changes in procedures, processes, technology, responsibilities, and assignments.
• Fits and assemble parts into complete assemblies, ensuring dimensions and alignment are accurately verified.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals across various units of measure.
• Ability to apply logical reasoning and comprehension to follow instructions given in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently needs to communicate verbally and listen attentively.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Essential vision abilities for this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus.
