Machine Operator (Entry‑Level - Electronics Manufacturing)

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are hiring an Entry‑Level Machine Operator to support our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect electronic circuit board assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. This is a great opportunity to start a career in electronics manufacturing-no prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect SMT electronic assemblies using AOI inspection equipment
• Identify, document, and communicate defects to production operators and supervisors
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), board handling, and MSD requirements
• Ensure workmanship and process compliance per written work instructions
• Support ISO, quality standards, and 6S/Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform other production and support tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills (data entry, simple software use)
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail‑oriented work
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• No prior manufacturing or AOI experience required (training provided)
