Machine Operator Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a well known client to fill the need of multiple Machine Operators. The Machine Operator will maintain the rice dryers, monitor the conveyor belts, repackage rice, and utilize the heat sealer or sewing machine in a production environment. The ideal Machine Operator has previous experience in the rice and grain industry, has excellent communication and time management skills along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The Machine Operator position is a full time, temp to hire position in Woodland, CA.
Job Responsibilities
Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate, Run, & Maintain Rice & Packaging Machines
- Feed Bags Into Machines & Test & Weigh Bags
- Ensure Correct Amount & Variety of Rice & Load Bag Products
- Ensure Date Code & Wording is Correct on Bags
- Maintain Logs For Production & Machine Operation
- Clean Area During Down Time
- Comply WIth Food & Safety Programs / Laws
- Wear All PPE & Follow All Safety Protocols as Required

Qualifications
Machine Operator Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Must be Able to Lift 50+ lbs as Needed
- Must be Able to Work Multiple Shifts as Needed
- Previous Grain & Rice Machine Operator Experience Preferred
- Must be Able to Stand, Lift, Bend, Kneel, Stoop, Climb Ladders & Have Good Vision
- Must be Able to Work O.T. as Needed
- Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills Required
