Machine Operator-Gallon Tea 3rd

Overview

This position involves operating and maintaining production machinery for manufacturing and packaging gallon tea products. The role requires ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards while working efficiently during the third shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet manufacturing goals.
• Monitor machinery performance and make minor adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct equipment start-up, shutdown, and product changeovers.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and production specifications are met.
• Identify, document, and report mechanical issues or quality concerns immediately.
• Maintain accurate production records and document any downtime.
• Ensure a steady supply of materials to the production line.
• Uphold housekeeping standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, sanitation, and supervisory teams to enhance production efficiency.
• Adhere to all food safety and company safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with operating machinery on a production line.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Engage in bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling as necessary.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery.
