Machine Operator

Our client is a leader in producing lightweight, durable, and shock resistant protective packaging used throughout the distribution cycle. We are recruiting for a skilled Machine Operator to help maintain the quality, precision, and efficiency that define their manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements Include:

• Must be available to train on the 2nd shift and work a 3rd shift once training is completed.

• Bilingual – Spanish is a plus.

• 1+ year(s) of recent experience as a machine operator or forklift operator.

• Must submit to and pass a drug screen.

• Davis Staffing, Inc. participates in the E-verify program.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Set Up:

• Use clamp truck to get roll stock and load roll stand.

• Adjust nip rollers, compression table, and heat deck.

• Adjust glue rollers according to specification.

• Adjust slitter blades to specification.

• Set machine speed.

• Set up printer.

Operate:

• Panel Line Machine.

• Adjust speeds and air pressure accordingly to run.

• Sit-down and/or clamp truck forklift.

Job Details Include:

• Temp to hire.

• $18.00 per hour.

• Shift hours:

  • 2nd shift: 2:45PM – 1:00AM, Monday to Friday with overtime as needed.

  • 3rd shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM, Monday to Friday with overtime as needed.
