Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various types of machinery according to specifications.
- Slitters, Packaging, Print, Looms, Traverse, Converting and similar machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
- Document production data and report any issues to management promptly.
- Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Technical training in machine operation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
