Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and industrial production, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team.  As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: HIGHLAND, NY

Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm)
NO FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS or SUNDAYS!
 

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of machines including sheet metal punching, forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during daily operations

What's Needed?

• Preferably have machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Steel or composite toe work boots
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in metal fabrication or machine operation
