Join the SMX Crew at our premier client in Greenfield, IN where we partner with an Industry Leading Client to produce high quality silicone release liners! Associates will work on various machinery including coating, laminating, roll-handling, winding, material mixing, slitting and cutting equipment. While previous experience is preferred, we're ultimately seeking individuals who have a great attitude and are willing to learn and grow their skillset. Must be able to read and speak English.

Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday ($19.50)
• 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday ($20.86)
• 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday ($23.23)

Duties:

As a machine operator, you will handle materials, mix materials, use hand tools, and work with our state of the art machinery. You will perform the required duties with safety and quality and take pride in your work and daily productivity. Contribute to your area along with the enjoyment of learning specific functions, to continue to make a positive work environment. You will be apart of a process that develops, engineers, formulates, and delivers innovative, "customized" silicone coated release liner products!

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated production and storage areas.
• Ensure production equipment and operators have the materials necessary to maintain continuous operations.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials according to production schedules.
• Assist with preparing finished products for packaging, storage, or shipment.
• Verify material quantities, product labels, and identification information for accuracy.
• Maintain organized storage areas and properly identify materials.
• Follow established material-handling procedures to prevent product damage, waste, and production delays.
• Operate approved material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
• Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to leadership.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Support other production activities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

To work with us you must be comfortable working in a manufacturing facility, must be laser focused on details and directions! No experience required, but we prefer any prior knowledge you have! We believe in flexibility and learning all jobs, so we will offer paid training and cross training to develop your career.
