We are currently hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Houston!
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: 1st Shift | 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay: $20–$25 per hour
Contract Position
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate horizontal honing machines
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and fixtures
- Produce high-precision components according to specifications
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate overhead cranes safely
- Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Experience operating honing machines or similar machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Ability to work with tight tolerances
- Manufacturing, machining, or metalworking experience
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- CNC experience is a plus
- 5+ years of experience preferred
