Operator I – Laser Machine Operator

Location: Nashua, NH
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking an Operator I to join a growing manufacturing team in Nashua, NH. This position is responsible for operating a computer-based laser machining work center to process components according to customer specifications and production requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their technical skills in a clean, team-oriented production environment. Employees will receive training and work under direct supervision while learning company procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-based laser machining equipment according to work instructions, drawings, and verbal direction
• Perform simple to moderately complex production tasks based on customer specifications
• Verify machine and equipment status prior to operation
• Inspect components to ensure quality and specification requirements are met
• Accurately enter and maintain production data
• Assist with training other employees on production processes and equipment as requested
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Work safely around laser equipment and adhere to all laser safety requirements
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Maintain professional conduct and high standards of job performance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
