Machine Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery under supervision of others.  
• Assist in meeting established production goals.
• Assist in performing daily checks and preventative maintenance.
• Assist quality control, reporting and recordkeeping procedures..
• Operate overhead cranes and Forklifts.
• Comply with safety and health regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Clean machinery and work area.

Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Entry level to 1 year experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Basic math skills - ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  To bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
