What You'll Do for Us
- Ensure efficient operation of case forming, case packing, labeling, and other downstream equipment.
- Perform package quality checks and maintain accurate records and logs.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel and management to solve production issues and ensure maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and correct machinery or quality problems.
- Prepare all equipment used in the manufacturing process to ensure smooth, sanitary, and safe operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification on training plan for this position within 6 months of start date.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Working knowledge of production environment and machinery.
- Attention to detail and ability to visually identify material defects.
- Computer literacy and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use common hand tools and small power tools.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work any shift as required in a 24/5 operating facility with little notice.
- Must be a team player and willing to rotate positions as needed.
- Participation in job development training and cross-training on all equipment.
Preferences
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Experience with automated or semi-automatic machines and related equipment.
