Machine Operator Description:
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate laser cutting equipment in our Jasper, GA manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll produce precision metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
Duties & Requirements:
- Operate laser cutting equipment to manufacture precision metal components.
- Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and report equipment or quality concerns.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous machine operator, laser operator, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
