HiFyve is hiring a Machine Operator for a Packaging facility!
Pay: $19–24/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift – 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday–Thursday
Location: Kansas City, KS
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and monitor folder gluer machinery used in packaging production
Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers for different packaging specifications
Ensure proper alignment, folding, gluing, and bonding of materials
Monitor production quality and make adjustments to maintain product specifications and production targets
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on folder gluer equipment
Troubleshoot minor mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical issues related to the machine
Maintain accurate production records and operational logs
Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing standards
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine efficiency
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience operating folder gluer machines is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Hands-on experience with folder gluer equipment in a packaging environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Understanding of machine setup, adjustments, and production quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
