Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations in a production environment. This position is responsible for preparing materials, operating production equipment, trimming finished products, and maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Job Description
Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting, taping, and applying adhesive.
Trim and finish rubber components according to specifications.
Operate extruders and other production equipment used in the preparation and processing of raw materials.
Maintain equipment and ensure raw material requirements are met according to production orders.
Follow established quality standards and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
Read, understand, and follow written work instructions, production documents, and drawings.
Assist with equipment setup, operation, and basic maintenance activities.
Train and support other employees by sharing knowledge of equipment, procedures, and production processes.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Skills Required
Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work safely and comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or shop-floor environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, production, or shop-floor experience.
Experience with machine operation, rubber molding, or production equipment.
Familiarity with hand tools such as knives and grinders.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Pay Rate
$17 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
