Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain industrial machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including lathes, mills, presses, and other machinery.
Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
Troubleshoot machine issues and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency and workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work instructions, and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Experience in automotive manufacturing or parts production.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Working Conditions
Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to machinery, noise, vibration, and moving equipment.
Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical activities may be required.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training are provided.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay: $17.50 per hour
