Requirements

• Previous machine setup or operating experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to set up tooling correctly
• Ability to use gauges and other inspection instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to read standard measuring equipment accurately
• Ability to lift dies occasionally

Job Duties

• Set up and operate multiple production machines
• Install, adjust, and remove machine tooling
• Lift and position dies as needed
• Read blueprints and follow production specifications
• Use gauges and standard measuring equipment to inspect work
• Monitor machines for performance and product quality
• Make machine or tooling adjustments as needed
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Perform basic preventive maintenance
• Report equipment problems that require additional repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all operating procedures and workplace safety requirements

As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
