Are you an experienced Machine Operator with forklift skills looking for a full-time opportunity in manufacturing? A local boat manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Machine Operator/Forklift Driver to join their 1st shift team. This position plays a key role in producing quality aluminum boat components by operating fabrication equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet production specifications.

Pay: Starting at $19.61 per hourSchedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime on Fridays as needed
Requirements- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
- Basic shop math skills, including measuring and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels
- Ability to work safely and follow all workplace safety procedures
- Candidates with a demonstrated track record of stability and commitment in previous roles are strongly preferred
- This is a safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing, including for THC, as permitted by state and federal law
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping
- Set up and operate conventional, specialty, and CNC equipment to fabricate aluminum parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, and specifications
- Calculate machine settings, feeds, speeds, bend angles, and production sequences
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and work with production staff to resolve problems
- Inspect completed parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure accuracy and quality
- Safely transport materials and components using a forklift as needed
- Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality expectations
- Assist in training and ensuring assigned helpers follow safety and workplace procedures
