We are seeking a Level 1 Machine Operator to join our team at our Fombell, PA location. This is an entry-level position that provides extensive on-the-job training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for electro-refining titanium sponge into high-purity titanium crystal. Initially, all tasks will be performed under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operational procedures of the refining department.
  • Work alongside Refining Technician Operators Level II, III, or Lead until deemed proficient enough in specific procedures to complete tasks independently.
  • Understand and execute all safety and emergency procedures relevant to the job.
  • Support and participate in all site safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Actively participate in improving the work environment by maintaining cleanliness, practicing good housekeeping, and adhering to all environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

You Must Have:

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 to 4 days a week, depending on the position, with overtime as needed. The refining department consists of 4 different crews covering production 24/7/365.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently when trained.
  • Ability to troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold environments as required.
  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals in a production atmosphere, sometimes at elevated heights and high heat.

We Value:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Experience with helium leak testing and/or maintenance work is a plus.
  • Experience in forklift operation is highly valued and will be considered an asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices are essential for success in this position.
  • Creative thinking and idea generation.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $21.50/Hour plus shift differential. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
