We are currently hiring several Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities with a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining production standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities:
This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.
Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor
Use of standard gauges, including the following: dial calipers, depth gauges, plug gauges and special gauges after instruction has been provided
Possesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performed
Changes cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.
Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisors’ instructions.
Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisor
Capable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistance
Requirements:
Must be self-motivated
Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work Overtime, as required
Must follow the dress code: Steel Toe, ESD shoes are required, plant wide.
