Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electronics industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform duties necessary to process capacitor blocks through the Angstor area.
• Set up and operate Chip Tester, Taper, Welder, Lead Cutter, Tape Printer, and Tape Slitter.
• Set up test equipment and power supplies for capacitor testing.
• Use calipers and micrometers to perform quality inspections.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen 
• Prior machine operation experience needed.
• Experience using hand tools to adjust and set up equipment.
• Previous use of measurement devices such as micrometers and calipers preferred.
• Ability to interpret specifications and set up documentation.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
