Work Environment
- Hot, dusty, and physically demanding environment
- Exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment
- PPE and safety procedures required at all times
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in the making department
- Perform proper equipment setup and adjustments
- Monitor green brick size, coatings, and body additives to ensure quality
- Measure brick dimensions and maintain quality standards
- Record and document daily production and quality data
- Maintain required production levels and efficiency
- Assist with machine maintenance and part replacement procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Follow all safety protocols, including crane and equipment operation
- Ability to learn safe operation of manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and understand mix sheets and machine settings
- Ability to learn machine maintenance and part replacement procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to meet production goals
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift (license required)
- Willingness to learn overhead crane operation
