Everlast Roofing is seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Operator/Maintenance Trainee to join our manufacturing team in Bridgton, Maine. This role is ideal for an experienced machine operator who has hands-on maintenance knowledge and is interested in developing into a future maintenance technician. The selected candidate will be trained on all production equipment and work closely with our experienced maintenance team to build troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills.

Schedule/Compensation:

Monday-Friday (4x10's)

6am-430pm (rotating days off)

Pay: $22-$30/per hour/ bi-weekly pay

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machine equipment to maintain production goals.

• Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.

• Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance activities.

• Learn the operation and maintenance requirements of all production equipment.

• Work closely with the maintenance technician to gain knowledge of machine systems, repairs, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required.

• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.

• Strong willingness to learn maintenance functions and develop technical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery maintenance.

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.

• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance.
