Manufacturing Finisher / Press Operator

Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek | Immediate Openings

We are immediately hiring Manufacturing Finishers and Press Operators for a growing, family-owned rubber and rubber-to-metal component manufacturer in Rootstown, OH. This is a full-time opportunity with paid training, benefits, and room to grow.


All employees train on 1st Shift. After training, candidates must be willing and able to rotate shifts as needed. Employees who prefer 2nd Shift may move to 2nd Shift after training and remain there.

Schedule
1st Shift:

  • Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

  • Mandatory overtime on some Fridays: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2nd Shift:

  • Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM

  • Mandatory overtime on some Fridays: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities
Finishers:

  • Trim molded rubber parts using knives, scissors, nail clippers, and drills

  • Inspect finished parts for quality and defects

  • Remove parts from molds and keep production moving


Press Operators:

  • Operate injection, compression, and transfer molding presses

  • Load and unload molds

  • Monitor machine operation and inspect molded parts

Qualifications

  • 6 months of manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the shift

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Must be willing to train on 1st Shift and rotate shifts as needed
