Machine Operator

Operation and setting up of one of the following machines: Filler, Gasser, and/or Capper Machines

Clean and maintain machine before, during and after production.

Calibrate the scale used for weighing cans before production begins.

Check and record concentrate and/or solvent weight every 15 minutes and spot check in between.

Observe line for nonconformances

Participate in machine changeovers

Maintain accurate and legible downtime reports and weight sheets.

Submit reports after each production job and end of day

1-3 years of machine operation experience

Mechanical aptitude

Hand tool knowledge (specifically caliper and scale)

Capable of lifting and carrying 25 lbs. for 10 feet.

Capable of standing during the entire shift

Must be okay working in a non-climate-controlled environment

Must be able to read and write English

Must possess math skills and be capable of using a calculator to perform calculations needed to complete daily reports.
