Machine Operator (medical device)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Nashua, NH. This role is primarily responsible for operating and inspecting production products and tasks of simple to medium complexity according to setup sheets and work instructions, while ensuring quality specifications are met. The successful candidate will complete necessary paperwork using GDP and adhere to safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete applicable job paperwork and daily production reports.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding issues, changes, and events.
• Use applicable PPE and work safely.
• Focus on quality and minimize scrap, NCMRs, and paperwork errors.
• Provide training on less complex production tasks.
• Assist with smooth and efficient handoffs between shifts, lunches, and breaks.
• Report quality and equipment issues promptly.
• Perform consistently while meeting expected output and staying on task with minimal distractions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to policy and good safe labor practices.
• Conduct oneself in a professional and appropriate manner, maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed due to business demands.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive work for long periods while maintaining quality and throughput.
• Displays a positive attitude and encourages others.
