Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Sunday - Thursday

Job Duties

• Operating injection molding machines
• Removing molded parts from machines
• Trimming flash and performing quality checks
• Packing finished products
• Completing documentation and work orders
• Monitoring machine operation and reporting issues
• Cleaning workstation at end of shift

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Must be able to read and understand a Work Order.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Must be able to read and understand a Work Order. Must understand quality standards and report quality issues to Process Technician Must know and understand all safety rules and regulations. Must know and understand basic control and functions of the machines. Must properly document problems with machines and notify Process Technician and/or Supervisor as soon as possible. Must be capable of operating press efficiently. Must be able to operate material loading system. Must be able to start up and shut down presses Must be capable of learning and performing other assigned duties. Must clean work station before leaving at the end of shift.

A Machine Operator helps maintain efficient manufacturing operations through safe machine operation, product inspection, and equipment monitoring. This role combines technical ability with strong organizational skills and attention to quality.
