Machine Operator-Multiple shifts

OpSource Staffing of Spartanburg has partnered with a leading supplier of automotive components for BMW, we are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join the team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery to produce high-quality parts for the automotive industry.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay rate: 

• $19.50/hr 2nd shift

Shift: 

• 2nd shift, 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Currently working 6-7 days a week
  
  

Job Functions:

• Perform work as assigned by the department team leader.
• Comply with working instructions.
• Address problem situations quickly and notify team leader or management immediately.
• Meet productivity requirements, commit to and produce quality work.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to identify products throughout production processes.
• Pack finished goods into correct boxes or racks as applicable.
• Perform operator machine maintenance as specified in work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instruction documents.
• Familiarity with quality control and safety standards in manufacturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

BMW Supplier Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines
• Must be able to work in a environment that adheres to BMW's quality and safety standards.
