We have teamed up with a great company in Rapids looking for a Full-Time Dryer Technician. This is a Try-before-hire opportunity for a reliable candidate looking to grow with a company!

Schedule: 2-2-3 NIGHTS 7p.m.-7a.m.


Wage: $23/hour

Job duties:
  • Responsible for adjusting dryer temperatures to remain compliant to customer’s specifications.
  • Monitor product depth in dryer and adjust as needed.
  • Monitor belts and turn on cleaning brushes as needed to minimize temperature fluctuations from burnt product.
  • Under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor, orchestrates and directs monthly shutdowns cleaning teams that are assigned to the dryers, while improving cleaning effectiveness and reducing downtime.
  • Will not mishandle equipment in any manner.
  • Perform a variety of routine and technical production tasks following prescribed methods.
  • Performs bi-yearly dryer analysis on both dryers, and when requested.
  • Responsible for performing moisture checks.
  • Responsible for spraying out dryers and shakers as often as needed to ensure consistent dryer feed, with a minimum of once per hour.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Basic computer and math skills required.
