Autoclave Operator (Boarding Department)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate steam boarding equipment to meet production and quality standards.

• Follow all operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

• Load, unload, and position garments or materials correctly for the boarding process.

• Monitor machine performance, temperature, pressure, and cycle settings.

• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety hazards to supervision.

• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of boarding equipment.

• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards.

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.

• Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.

• Tolerance for heat

• Background check and drug test required
