Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator (Slitter Operator) to join a growing manufacturing team in Pittsburg, KS. This role is responsible for operating slitting equipment used to convert large rolls of material into finished products that meet strict quality and customer specifications.

Required Experience & Skills
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation quickly
Ability to read work orders and use measuring tools accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
Ability to work 3rd shift consistently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate slitter machinery according to work orders and production schedules
Load and position large rolls of material onto production equipment
Adjust machine settings for width, tension, alignment, and production accuracy
Monitor production runs to maintain quality and efficiency
Inspect finished materials for defects, measurements, and specification compliance
Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately
Perform basic machine maintenance and report mechanical concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing / production environment
Exposure to moving machinery, production equipment, materials handling, and active operations
Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, repetitive movement, and PPE compliance
