Job Description

This position is responsible for operate department specific wet process equipment: - Plating, automatic plate lines, deposition, strip, etch, reflow and ASF.          

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol’s company safety regulations.           
  • Assist in department specific preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Time execution of multiple tasks and instructions to meet production deadlines. 
  • Involvement with continuous improvement activities as needed.    
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
  • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
  • May be required to cross train in other departments.                                                                                    
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, be independent, work with limited supervision.   
  • Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
  • Participate in Chemical Awareness and Chemical Handling certifications.
  • Required to pass respirator physical?
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely. 
  • Basic computer experience a plus - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.           
  • 2+ Years PCB experience with Prior Plating experience preferred.
