Machine Operator – Precision Molding

Location:703 Rogers St, Downers Grove, IL 60515

Hire type:Full-Time

1st Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:40 AM – 4 PM

Pay: $17 - $20/hour (based on experience)

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday from 4 PM - 12:30 AM

Pay: $17 - $20/hour + $1 shift differential (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our precision molding team.

In this role, you will produce and inspect small, high-precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in detail-focused production settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate molding machines to produce high-precision components

  • Trim and de-gate parts using fine hand tools

  • Inspect parts using magnification tools and microscopes

  • Identify and report defects or irregularities

  • Package finished components to specification

  • Complete basic production and quality documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to maintain consistent production pace and quality standards

  • Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-focused tasks

  • Basic math skills

  • Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must complete a background check

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Climate-controlled, air-conditioned facility

  • Primarily standing or sitting during shift

  • Frequent handling of small components

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

  • Close vision and focus on fine details required
