Machine Operator / Production Associate - 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift
Location: Stratford, CT

Looking for a stable career with a growing manufacturing company? We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room to grow for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team.

What You'll Do:

• Operate and monitor production and digital printing equipment.
• Read and follow job tickets and special work instructions.
• Set up materials and assist with production runs.
• Move large rolls of paper and production materials safely.
• Work closely with other departments to meet daily production goals.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and light maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including general housekeeping inside and outside the facility.
• Follow company procedures to protect confidential and proprietary information.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using computers and production equipment.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions.
• Able to lift and move large, heavy rolls of paper.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• English or bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
