Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in manufacturing electrical components, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting coil winding operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Rainsville, AL

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
*some afternoon and Saturday overtime may be required at times

What's the Job?

• Operate coil winding equipment, including semi-automatic and bench lathe winding machines
• Follow safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Review specifications and select appropriate tools, wire gauge, and materials
• Perform setups and adjustments to meet product specifications and tolerances
• Wind prototype coils, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, visual aids, and control drawings
• Basic verbal communication skills to effectively share information and raise concerns
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with routine distractions
• Ability to perform hands-on work requiring fine motor skills
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform occasional bending, stooping, and reaching
