Machine Operator (Rolling & Welding)

Job Title: Machine Operator (Rolling & Welding)Location: Oxnard, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimePay: $18.00–$22.00/hour

Job Summary

Operate and maintain rolling machines, seam welders, and cut-off machines to form and weld metal materials. Responsible for moving materials between machines and ensuring production meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rolling machines, seam welders, and cut-off equipment
• Load and move materials between machines
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Read blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Adjust machine settings to maintain proper tolerances
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
• Perform basic machine maintenance and tool changes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience operating manufacturing or welding machinery
• Basic math skills (decimals and fractions)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

• Indoor manufacturing setting
• Standing, repetitive motion, and material handling required
• Use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots
