We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in a manufacturing environment operating grinder machines, hydraulic presses, abrasive saws, and other production equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate grinder machines, abrasive saws, hydraulic presses, and related production equipment.
Roll bulky reels onto production stands and secure materials for processing.
Set up and adjust machinery using calipers and precision measurements.
Use hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings and components to finished products.
Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing operations according to specifications.
Conduct detailed quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
Accurately record inspection results and production data in the company database.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or associate degree preferred.
Previous experience operating grinder machines, hydraulic presses, abrasive saws, or similar manufacturing equipment required.
Strong experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle production materials as required.
Manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or metalworking experience strongly preferred.
