Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Machine Operators/Saw Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Norwalk that has been producing quality products for over 40 years. Shift
2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Pay
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Based on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility
- Fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Exposure to lightweight, non-fiberglass insulation materials
- Dusty environment typical of fabrication operations
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and computerized saw equipment
- Read work orders and cut materials to precise customer specifications
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine machine checks and maintain a safe work area
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure is required
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely in a physically active manufacturing environment
