This role ensures personnel safety and compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high safety standards.
Key duties include monitoring machine operation, identifying issues such as jamming or improper feeding, marking and sorting materials, cleaning and lubricating equipment, and interpreting work orders and blueprints.
It involves general housekeeping, supporting continuous improvement projects, and working independently.
Requires no specific education or experience, though at least one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma are preferred.
Skills include good communication, basic math, tape measure reading, computer proficiency, and knowledge of materials and routine procedures like loading/unloading parts and blueprint reading (training provided).
Physical demands include constant alertness, lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, bending, and working in various environmental conditions, with proper PPE required at all times.
