Machine Operator

Food Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for their team. This is a full time, first shift opportunity working Monday through Thursday, 6:30AM-5:00PM with overtime availability. Prefer candidates with experience working in a GMP environment and/or Food Manufacturing facility.

• HACCP Certification preferred not required
• SQF Certification preferred not required
• GMP knowledge preferred
• Ability to read and understand GMP safety compliance standards
• Knowledge of food safety and food manufacturing procedures
• Will take account and acknowledge potential safety hazards
• Maintain accurate safety logs and documentation
• Checks production schedule and determine what raw materials is needed for the day’s production
• Weights out raw materials according to the master recipe book
• Records all lot numbers of all raw material used in each batch
• Starts oven after first mix is taken out of mixer (this time can very according to the time of year)
• Keep on schedule for the rest of day based on number of batches
• Check’s with the mixer as to raw materials condition (too wet ,dry, proofing)
• Clean environment, keep work area clean
• Standing up to 9 hours a day
• Machine operation experience
• Good attitude and works well with team
• Other duties as assigned
