Machine Operator II

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Experience: 1–3 years of machine operation, manufacturing, or related experience

Position Summary

#ZR We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator II to safely set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position works with non-CNC cutting and slitting machinery used to convert large-format materials into customer-specified sizes.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience operating or setting up production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery
• Follow work orders, production specifications, and operating procedures
• Load materials and install or adjust knives, tooling, guides, and machine components
• Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Inspect finished materials for correct dimensions, cut quality, stacking, and labeling
• Identify and report defects, equipment problems, and safety concerns
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Coordinate with maintenance when equipment requires service or repair
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirements

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of machine operation, production, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to make routine machine adjustments
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read work orders, specifications, and production instructions
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safe equipment operation and manufacturing practices
