We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Forklift Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with experience operating production equipment, forklifts, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate metal-cutting and production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform work according to production schedules, quality standards, and time expectations.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Monitor cutting alignment and machine performance to ensure product quality.
• Identify and resolve minor program or operational errors.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to perform decimal and fraction conversions.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
